Fruit supplementation improves skin hydration
According to half a dozen trials, daily consumption of fruit has a positive effect on the skin. Both fruit and fruit extracts improve skin hydration.
Study
The studies lasted 1-4 months. The type of fruit or fruit extract and the dosage varied, but were in line with the intake you can expect in everyday life. For example, the subjects in the experimental group consumed an avocado or 250 grams of mango per day.

Fruit supplementation improved the skin's ability to retain moisture. Transepidermal water loss decreased. That is what the figure above says.
There was also a trend that fruit supplementation made the skin more elastic.
The researchers found no evidence that fruit supplementation made the skin more resistant to UV light. Fruit also had no effect on wrinkles.
