At this vitamin D3 level, SARS-CoV-2 is (in theory) no longer lethal
If you manage to raise your vitamin D3 level to 50 nanograms per milliliter, your chances of dying from SARS-CoV2 infection are practically zero. Well, in theory. This is suggested by a statistical exercise that three independent German researchers have published as a preprint.
Study
Results
When the researchers aggregated the results of all that study, they were able to use statistics to calculate at which concentration of vitamin D3 the risk of death if infected with SAR-CoV2 could in theory be minimal. That was, they were able to find out, at a level of just over 50 nanograms per milliliter.
According to the WHO, a vitamin D3 level of up to 120 nanograms per milliliter is safe.
Conclusion
"Due to the great number of viral genome replications that occur in infected individuals and the error-prone nature of RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, progressive accrual mutations do and will continue to occur."
"Thus, similar to other virus infections such as influenza, we have to expect that the effectiveness of vaccination is limited in time, especially with the current vaccines designed to trigger an immunological response against a single viral protein."
"We have already learned that even fully vaccinated people can be infected. Currently, most of these infections do not result in hospitalization, especially for young individuals without comorbidities."
Conclusion
"As future mutations of the SARS-CoV-2 virus may not be susceptible to the acquired immunity from vaccination or from a preceding infection, the entire population should raise their serum vitamin D level to a safe level as soon as possible. As long as enough vitamin K2 is provided, the suggested D3 levels are entirely safe to achieve by supplementation." Source: More: Archives:
