Q10, vitamins B2 and B3 mitigate cardiovascular risks of tamoxifen
Both pharmacological bodybuilders who want to lower their estradiol level (or increase their testosterone level) and women with an estradiol-sensitive type of breast cancer use the anti-oestrogen tamoxifen. A side effect of tamoxifen is that it worsens cholesterol levels, which in the longer term increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Supplementation with Q10, vitamin B2 and vitamin B3 reduces this side effect.
Study
One group of women was healthy. The second group had breast cancer but had not yet received any medication. The third group of subjects had breast cancer and was given 20 milligrams of tamoxifen daily for 90 days. A fourth group of subjects received 20 milligrams of tamoxifen, 100 milligrams of Q10, 10 milligrams of riboflavin and 50 milligrams of niacin daily for 90 days.
Results
In addition, supplementation with Q10 and the B vitamins appeared to lower LDL levels and increase HDL levels.

Conclusion
"Co-administration with Co-Q10, riboflavin and niacin significantly decreased the tamoxifen induced lipid abnormalities."
This could mean that supplementation with Q10 and vitamins B2 and B3 reduces the cardiovascular risks of long-term use of tamoxifen.
