IForce Nutrition's Testabolan is tribulus with ecdysterone

Some years ago manufacturer IForce Nutrition launched Testabolan. With the inevitable hype. Take two capsules mornings and evenings and you'll be amazed at the results. Says IForce. "Significant gains in lean muscle mass and body fat reduction. With just one cycle you will begin to experience muscle growth at a blistering pace. Freakish gains in mass and definition. Unheard of results-until now!"

The manufacturer places a clear warning about the side effects of the stuff: "Possible side effects include acne, hair loss, growth on the face (in women), aggressiveness, irritability, and increased levels of estrogen. Discontinue use and call a physician if you experience rapid heartbeat, dizziness, blurred vision, or other similar symptoms."

Hea-vy.

Testabolan contains some pretty special ingredients. It's a cocktail of 25-Hexahydroxycholest-One and 26-Hydroxydiocine. These are the short names for – wait for it - 2B, 3B 14alpha, 20B,22,25-Hexahydroxycholest-7-En-6-One and 26-0-Beta-1-Glucopiranosil, 22-Hydroxifurost-5-En-3-Beta,26diol, 3-0-Beta-Diglucoramnoside. Holy cow. With names like that they're bound to make you grow.

The compounds that Testabolan contains become clear if you write out the formulas.

The first component, 25-Hexahydroxycholest-One, is none other than ecdysterone, the mother of the ecdysteroids. The diagram above shows its chemical structure.

The second component, 26-Hydroxydiocine, is protodioscin. Structural formula shown below.

Protodioscin is the most important component in the plant Tribulus terrestris. You're bound to have heard of it.
